Podría hablarse entonces de un ansia post-naturalista que ha estado siempre presente en su pintura; una mentalidad que no se conforma con entender a la naturaleza como una serie de cadenas taxonómicas de reinos, clases y filos, sino que persigue la posibilidad de que haya una abstracción natural.

The literal "types and edges" doesn't make sense to me but "types and categories" seems like a stretch....
