Bio
Hello! I’m Sara. I help people communicate.
I'm a professional translator and interpreter in the fields of medicine, marketing, IT and international relations with over 9 years' experience. I spent 5 years as a freelancer in the US, 3 of them in the Bay Area, working with Spanish speakers from all over South America. I am also a certified healthcare interpreter through CCHI, an accredited sworn translator through the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a member of Asetrad, ATA, CHIA and Tremédica. My teaching experience includes workshops and seminars on medical interpretation ethics, how to work with interpreters and intercultural mediation between Hispanic and US cultures.
I am interested in traveling, learning about foreign cultures and immersing myself in them.
