Hello,

I've worked on many revision/proofreading jobs these last few years, but I sometimes struggle to find the right words in English to comment on the quality of a translation.

Do you know where I could find a kind of checklist, or even a book about this, that would explain the main "errors" that can be made when translating (things like barbarism, sentences being "burdensome", etc.)?

Thank you,

Cindy

I believe that this book has quite a lot of information, possibly also on the terminology itself.

I cannot be sure though because it is on my books-to-buy list since a couple of years but still not in my library
