The 100-minute movie can have somewhere between 10,000 - 12,000 words,

This shows that U have not done your math. For this to be true you would have to have 100 - 120 word per minute( 10,000 words divided by 100 minutes). You try speaking 1 word every second.

I've just downloaded subtitles and broke files down:

Matrix (1999)
02h30
12,119 words
1,834 unique words
152 sentences

Revenant (2015)
02h36
8,941 words
1,570 unique words
72 sentences

Joker (2019)
02h02
11,275 words
1,864 unique words
168 sentences

Disclaimer:
"I run. He runs. She runs. I'm running now."
9 words
8 unique words
4 sentences

I chose a few movies. I used Google to find and download subtitles for them. Subtitles are text files, so I edited them in a text editor (for example Notepad). I replaced all numbers by nothing (Ctrl+H, Replace All). Finally I used https://wordcounter.net/ to determine statistics.
