I am a native speaker of Slovak and I have 5+ years of academic background in English and linguistics and 2+ years of experience in translation and interpreting from Slovak to English and English to Slovak. I have experience both as an in-house and freelance translator/interpreter.

In addition to this, I have worked for over a year as a language assistant and translator/interpreter (in-house position), specialising in interpreting with children and translating corporate materials.

Living in the UK for the past 6 years and having studied English for 18 years has deepened my understanding of the English language and culture.
