Bio
I have a German Diplom degree in translation and work with the following language combinations: English-German, German-English and Spanish-German. After spending almost five years as a full-time proofreader for a translation agency I started working as a freelance translator in 2018. In the past years, I have specialised in technical texts, especially involving the subjects of mechanical engineering, material handling, wind energy and occupational safety. During the past seven years, I worked almost exclusively with patents and I enjoy this text type as a translator as well as a proofreader.
