Source text - Spanish La Educación social o Socioeducación es una educación que abarca un concepto más amplio que la educación actual y que concierne a toda la sociedad. Inherentemente contiene un fuerte componente ético. Es aplicar básicamente todo lo que es enseñanza teórica en la escuela en la práctica diaria, donde las actividades se vuelven productivas en un contexto social ampliado. Los niños y jóvenes no son agentes pasivos que aprenden para ser un personaje social y productivo más en el futuro. Sino que son seres sociales activos desde pequeños, o sea saben ser protagonistas del entorno donde viven.
No se trata de aprender normas, leyes, moral o reglas de convivencia, ya que eso se aprende por si solo cuando uno es protagonista activo de la construcción social, mediante la invitación por parte del adulto para colaborar con la construcción del medio en el cual vivimos, que sea la economía, la naturaleza, lo público, lo privado, el comercio, lo religioso. En realidad en todo, absolutamente todo está implicado. Aprenden construyendo.
Translation - English Social education or Socio-education is a broader concept of education which concerns the whole of Society. It inherently contains a strong ethical component. Basically, it applies theoretical learning from school to daily circumstances, where activities become productive in an expanded social context. Children and young people are not passive agents who learn to be a social and productive person later on in their lives- from childhood, they are active social beings, key players in the environment where they live.
It is not about learning norms, laws, morals or rules of coexistence, as these things are learned automatically when one is active member of society, invited by adults to collaborate in constructing the environment in which we live , that is, the economy, nature, public, private, commercial and religious sectors. Really, it involves absolutely everything. One learns to create.

Source text - Spanish La Junta Directiva de la Asociación podrá acordar la constitución de Delegaciones Territoriales que deberán corresponder al ámbito de una Comunidad Autónoma, salvo que especiales circunstancias aconsejen otro tipo de división geográfica, siempre que uno de sus miembros esté dispuesto a ostentar las funciones de Delegado, y presente una planificación de actividades a desarrollar en su ámbito territorial, con la aprobación de la Junta Directiva de la Asociación.
La Delegación, y en su nombre el Delegado Territorial, ostentará plenas facultades para el desarrollo de sus funciones y contará con suficiente autonomía funcional y económica, para ello dispondrá de poderes notariales que le autoricen a realizar su tarea con eficacia, descentralización y exclusividad dentro de su ámbito territorial.
Translation - English The Board of Directors of the Association may approve the constitutions of Territorial Delegations which must correspond to the scope of an Autonomous Community, unless special circumstances suggest a different category of geographical division, provided that one of its members are willing to function as Delegate, and present a plan of activities to be developed in their territorial area, with the approval of the Board of Directors of the Association.
The Delegation, and the Territorial Delegate acting in its name, will have the full capacity to develop its functions and shall have sufficient functional and economic autonomy, by means of notarial powers that authorize it to carry out its task effectively, with decentralization and exclusivity within its territorial area.

I am a native English speaker with a passion for reading and writing and a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability (Science). I learnt Spanish as a teenager, through full immersion in Spanish culture, living with a local family and studying at Secondary School. I have since studied Spanish extensively and continued living in Spanish speaking countries, travelling from Peru to Mexico and settling at times in Colombia, my partner's country. I now speak and enjoy reading in Spanish at home.
I have experience as a Spanish-English translator and interpreter, and I also work as a proof-reader, post-editor and transcriber. I specialize in scientific texts; however, my Bachelors Degree in Sustainability (Science) has given me a broad scope of knowledge and I can easily adapt to individual clients' needs. I am a writer of songs and poetry and always relish the opportunity to express myself creatively through translating creative pieces.
I love working with words. I find that my nature is well-suited to the task:
-I am perfectly happy spending hours in front of the computer each day.
-My university education has endowed me with excellent concentration and research skills.
-As a member of generation Y, working with technology is second nature to me. I have experience with word processing and scientific programming software, and I quickly and easily learn to navigate new programs when necessary.
-I am adept at working with deadlines, and in my entire university education I have not missed one.

Most importantly, I am absolutely fascinated by linguistics, and love exploring the subtleties of words and languages. I am curious about every topic I come across, so I find translation and transcription work endlessly engaging, as I expand in my own learning while helping others to be mutually understood.
