Over the last little while I have noticed that e-mails notifying me of questions posted in my language pairs are sent out very late. At times, it seems to be many hours after the question has been responded to by others. It\'s a bit like being spammed really since by that stage there\'s nothing much you can do in the way of offering help. In many cases an answer has already been chosen to the question.

Equally, when I post a question myself, there is a very long delay before the notification is sent out and consequently answers start to be posted. Clearly this can be a problem since so many of us have extremely short turnaround times on some of our projects.



Is the system creaking at the seams again? It would be nice if something could be done since ProZ needs to work quickly and efficiently if it is to be as useful as possible.

Notification of questions is rather erratic at the moment. Getting delays, sometimes of three hours or so, in notifications. Some arrive in different time order to that in which they are posted. And just one or two, as you say, come even later.

The late ones have obviously been notified earlier to some other people since there are often several replies posted to them.
