I am translating a list of pharmaceutical terms which includes
geltab
gelcap
softgel
My research indicates that "cápsula de gelatina" is used for gelcap, and that softgel is "cápsula blanda de gelatina" or simply "cápsula blanda" (feel free to comment on this...), but I have not been able to find a translation for geltab, which I understand to be a tablet with a gelatin coating to aid in ease of swallowing.

I have seen "comprimido recubierto con película" (not "con gelatina") often, but I don't know if it refers to the same product.

Es la definición que dan en la primera referencia. Como dice la segunda referencia se trata de un desarrollo nuevo así que puede que no haya un nombre establecido.

Por comparación de prospectos del mismo medicamento, deduzco que se trata de tableta masticable, en ocasiones aparece sublingual.
La referencia masticable aparece siempre frente a geltab.

Gel tab: a form of acid dose formed by mixing liquid acid with gelatin. also known as window pane acid. gel tabs have a longer shelf life than other acid doses, and they can be very powerful.
