3.2 INSTALLATION, INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

The client shall see to it that all installation, inspection and maintenance work is carried out by trained personnel, who are familiar in all aspects with the refrigeration unit.
Before work is carried out on the unit, one must make sure that:

1. The unit must be depressurised.
2. The drive unit(s) must be inactivated and prevented from starting.
3. Local codes with regard to the **medium handled** are to be observed.

The unit has been fitted with labels identifying components that require extra attention with regard to various safety aspects, like warnings for excessive noise, hot surfaces, reference to service manual, pressurised vessels, etc.
