I think it's possible to say "permanent dye", although I prefer colour, which is why I've suggested tint (to vary vocab). I've also changed the sentence around a bit because the fact that it repairs your hair as it colours is the most important bit of info, in my opinion.

God only knows how it works, investigation on the Goldwell site didn't reveal any kinds of information except how lovely it will make you look, but right now, who the heck cares? For someone with thick hair that needs to be bleached before holding colour, and with a fondness for shades of blue and bright red, this very well could change my life. At least until it's proven the stuff causes cancer.
