"Cambray" is not a type of potato but a name given to small potatoes AND onions. There are plenty of references on the web and if you type "cambray onions" you will see several pictures of spring onions.
The term does not mean anything to an English speaker. They are new potatoes, as two of us have specified.

This is what they are called in Mexico, small potatoes usually cooked with their skin. If you google for images you'll see lots of pictures.

It is a type of new potato, but there are thousands of varieties and "Cambray" is just one of them. It would be safer to say "new potatoes":
"There are literally thousands of different varieties of potatoes grown around the world."
