Spanish term

síndrome coqueluchoide

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Health Care
Here is the context:

I can find a lot in Spanish but I can't find anything when I search for "coqueluchiode syndrome" and it's varients in English. This is a study for the National Health Institute of Peru (INS).

Discussion

Joey Carney (asker) Jul 13, 2015:
In the summary, which was translated by someone else, they had put it as "bronchial obstruction syndrome" which didn't seem very accurate. I don't like "Pertussis-like syndrome" because it seems rather vague, but it also seems to be much more commonly used than "Coqueluchoide Syndrome." Maybe it is one of those diseases that is not very common in English speaking countries.
DLyons Jul 12, 2015:
Searching for "coqueluchiode syndrome" won't give anything because it's mis-spelled!

Pertussis-like syndrome?

It was a bad idea to make this top-of-the-head suggestion a few minutes after the question was posted. But I've learned, and won't be doing it again.

Note from asker:
Thanks for the suggestion. I actually like this answer better but I can't find as many references. When I search "Coqueluchoide", Spanish websites inevitably pop up, which was my initial problem. But thanks a lot for all your help.
