Hola cómo están. Estoy traduciendo el tratamiento para una serie web, y lo que se describe en la secuencia de apertura es que los personajes irán contando su historia a través de placas animadas. Luego se va desglosando uno a uno lo que sucede en cada "Placa animada", de modo que es la denominación de una unidad.
No estoy segura sobre el término correcto para denominar estas "placas animadas" en inglés.
Si pueden ayudarme, se los agradeceré muchísimo.

I have no idea what term Mercedes is looking for ("se habla de animación "detrás" de actores en vivo, y mi pregunta es sobre animación pura, SIN actores. Son dibujos cortados y animados"). It is not "animation plate, or "sequence" but a smaller element, or so I understand), without live actors.
