Spanish term

Patrimonios autónomos de remanentes

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
Hola! Estoy traduciendo una hoja de vida de una persona que trabaja en ingeniería de sistemas y me encontré con este término:
"Liquidaciones y Patrimonios Autónomos de Remanentes del Sector de Telecomunicaciones y Postal"
La hoja de vida no provee mayor contexto por lo que no he podido encontrar una traducción que se ajuste.
Gracias por su colaboración.

philgoddard Jan 12, 2021:
It appears to be an entity (a trust?) created to hold the assets when a company is liquidated - I'm not sure what we'd call it. The definition is highlighted in yellow here:

Stand-Alone Residual /Pool/ Funds

Note the inital caps, as in the question, to denote a Pool of Undistributed Surpluses and not of funds as meaning proceeds or income.

Patrimonios autónomos > 'autonomous assets' : West.

This question rings bells from the problem of how to deal with surplus funds on the dissolution of unincoporated associations, albeit in the English law of equity and trusts - see Steve H's answer and the ref. to a Trust Deed in the second example sentence.

Example sentence:

If the rules contain an express term determining how surplus is to be divided on dissolution, this term is binding on the association members.

Residual Fund means all *monies* or Shares directed to be held as part of the Residual Fund or for which no specific provision is made (other than under Clause 14 of the Trust Deed)

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : This looks more like it, but because of your punctuation I'm not clear what your answer is. And it shouldn't have initial capitals - it's not a proper noun.

Then see the glossary entry for the answer picked. It should have all initial caps as that's the way the Spanish title is quoted, primarily to show that the Funds are not a cash stream but a pool, as highlighted by the punctuation.
neutral Francois Boye : I have just found it:Patrimonios Autónomos = wealth under management; remanentes = undistributed profits in Spanish accounting

residuary trusts

Usually meaning deadstock relegated to a trust or foundation.
Example sentence:

Settlements and residuary trusts from the Telecommunications and Postal sectors.

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : I associate this with estate law rather than insolvency.

agree Adrian MM. : Thanks for the idea of ... held on residuary trust > which is a scheme an Anglo-Am. court would certainly be asked about by Counsel on dissolution of an unincorporated association. Phil G. may have meant law of trusts rather than estate management law.

Thanks Adrian. My pleasure! — Yes, that's what I think too.

private wealth based on undistributed profits

My surmise is that the Postal and Telecommunications parastatal includes private branches that accumulated money over time through accumulating its profits
