Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) MRI - Cervical spine

From a medical report for an MRI scan of the cervical spine of a male patient (79 yr), Venezuela.

"Discopatía degenerativa multisegmentaria, con anillo fibroso prominente complejo disco osteofito C6-C7 sin efecto compresivo cordón medular.
Diámetro del canal, **foramen de emergencia** y agujeros vertebrales normal amplitud.
Cordón medular sin alteraciones intensidad de señal de naturaleza desmielinizante, ..."

A similar phrase is found in the other reports I'm translating for the same patient:
Thoracic spine MRI - "Diámetros del canal foramen de emergencia amplios"
Lumbar spine MRI - "Resto del canal y foramen emergencia de normal amplitud" (without "de").
All text transcribed as is in the source document (I'm aware there is punctuation missing).

I believe the "emergencia" here refers to "emergencia radicular", i.e. these are the foramina where the nerve roots emerge from the spine and go to other parts of the body.
In English I believe this may be "exit foramen", which is the only thing I've found that gets hits.

Assuming that's the case, can anybody help me to understand the difference between "foramen de emergencia" and "agujeros vertebrales"? At this point I believe the "canal" here is referring to the "spinal canal", i.e. the actual nerves passing down the spine, the "(exit) foramen" is the hole/passageway they go through, and "agujeros vertebrales" might refer to the transverse foramina? Can anyone with medical knowledge confirm this?

So the sentence would be something like: "Diameter of the canal, exit foramen (or pl. foramina - there should be several down the whole cervical spine) and vertebral holes of normal width."
