Yes, I had seen that article. But what it says about 'reach' is that it refers to 'the total number of people who see your content.' 'Seeing' and 'reading' are not the same thing. This is why I feel it might be worth double-checking with the client what exactly they mean, or need.

I would say that 'impactos' is a direct translation of 'hits', but that is not the same as 'readers, users and followers', which is what your client seems to be after.

Did your client provide you with the definition you include above in English, or in Spanish?

Can you provide us with some of the context, in Spanish?

Maybe they do mean 'reach', but that is not what 'reach' means:

'In the application of statistics to advertising and media analysis, reach refers to the total number of different people or households exposed, at least once, to a medium during a given period. Reach should not be confused with the number of people who will actually be exposed to and consume the advertising, though. It is just the number of people who are exposed to the medium and therefore have an opportunity to see or hear the ad or commercial.'
