English to Dutch Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial

I would appreciate if somebody could tell me the most common Dutch term for cable gland. I am stuck between the translator and the proofreader who don’t seem to agree. I was not expecting it would come to this.

The story so far:

Translator:
Cable glands - Pakkingdrukkers (my translation was kabelwartels). A pakkingdrukker in English is a "packing gland", so I don't know why he has changed this.

Proofreader:
My Universal Dictionary of Science and Technology English - Dutch (Deventer/Antwerpen: Kluwer, 1997) tells me that a gland is a pakkingdrukker. I could have used kabelpakkingdrukker for cable gland but the context makes it clear we are talking cables anyway.

Conversely, the only context in which to my knowledge wartel is used in terms like wartelmoeren - union nuts.
