The context is:
Collect 150 milliliters (mL) of autologous plasma concurrently at the beginning of the leukapheresis procedure.
The concurrent plasma volume does not include the chase volume.
Do I understand well that "chase" is "achtergebleven", or something like that?
Also, I am not sure about the meaning of the word "concurrent". Could it be "begeleidend"?

Ik kan er geen referenties voor vinden, maar dit lijkt me wat er bedoeld wordt. Het nagestreefde (benodigde) volume moet worden opgeteld bij het plasmavolume.

PS: concurrent is gelijktijdig. Ik weet niet precies hoe de procedure werkt, maar kennelijk wordt gelijktijdig met de aanvang van de leukaferese bloed afgenomen (concurrent plasma), het nagestreefde volume niet meegerekend.

Conventional-volume leukaphereses (median: 11 liters) were performed using the manufacturer’s standard software default regarding inlet flow, harvest/chase volume (3/7 ml) and number of collection cycles.
