If "you" is singular here (The Pope), I would say:

"Quia feles valde te aestimant atque valde feles aestimas"

Quia= Because
Feles= Cats (nominative and accusative, plural)
valde= very much
te= you (acc.)
aestimant= they appreciate

atque: and

valde= very much
feles= cats (object)
aestimas= you appreciate (2nd singular)
