For passenger aircraft, the floor will house seat rails (into which the seats fit) and have provision for the fitting of carpet. On pressurised aircraft the floor area/sidewall area will contain >pressure equalisation holes/vents< to allow pressurisation to equalise between the passenger area and cargo bay area.
