How were reporting unit codes determined during data conversion from *DEFINE to HRMS?
Question
How were reporting unit codes determined during data conversion from *DEFINE to HRMS?
Answer

Positions in HRMS (Human Resource Management System) are owned by unit codes. During data conversion, unit codes that own positions were determined by the account numbers on appointments.

If a position was funded by multiple accounts, the unit code assigned to that position was the one based on the appointment with the highest time percentage. If two appointments had an equal amount of time (50 percent) assigned to each, then the appointment that was created first determined which unit code owned the position.

codul unitatii apartinatoare/raportoare

exista o suprapunere uneori. Un militar poate fi atasat unei unitati militare, dar datorita mai multor factori (unitatea in care era initial, rolul in unitatea noua, etc,), responsabilitatea financiara (buzunare/bugete separate, eeeh) cade in mod separat in curtile variatelor unitati in proportii mai mari sau mai mici.

The codes, also called MCC (Monitoring Unit Code) or RUC (Reporting
Unit Code), including reference to PMCC (Port Management Control
Center) are military shorthand for the names of command units and
their locations.
