remove XXX from ... into

English Law/Patents Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
Please let me know if this phrase "remove ..from ... into" is used correctly in the sentence below. Especially I would like to have opinions of those who is familiar with "the patent language".

I would reword the sentence thus...

"The Examination Board requires the introduction of some formal amendments into the set of claims, namely, a rewording of claims 1 and 7, as well as removing several features from claims 1 and 7 to create new subordinate claims."

Your options would be to move several features from claims 1 and seven to new subordinate clauses or to remove them from claims 1 and 7 and enter them in new subordinate claims.
