Diagram A-1.13: Aircraft's *Spritsystem*
To calculate the center of gravity of the fuel in the tank, a simplified model of the tank was built. The following simplifications were made :
1) The gradient of the fuel tank towards the horizontal plane (conditioned by the V-wing's V-form of 5.5°) was presumed to be a constant. (Diagram A-1.14).
2) For a simpler modeling of the tank the three replacement system tanks had a rectangular diameter. The extension of the replacement tanks in x- direction was determined in such a manner that their volume accorded with that of the real tanks. The extensions in y- and z- direction remained unchanged ( see Diagram A-1.15).
