Adhesions

Adhesions are fibrous bands[1] that form between tissues and organs, often as a result of injury during surgery. They may be thought of as internal scar tissue that connects tissues not normally connected.
Example sentence:

Adhesions between adjacent intestinal loops were observed, as well as mesentery and epididymal adipose fat pads and mesentery bleeding

Note from asker:
Ευχαριστώ για την ανταπόκριση. Το θέμα είναι ότι γνωρίζω τον όρο στα Αγγλικά, αλλά το πρόβλημά μου είναι πώς θα τον διατυπώσω ως ρήμα.
Peer comments on this reference comment:

agree D. Harvatis : Το ρήμα είναι το adhere ("appear to adhere to each other") αλλά νομίζω ότι θα έλεγαν μάλλον "appear to form adhesions".
