In de handleiding voor een boorfreesmachine (bewerkingscentrum) staan deze zinnen:

Origine assoluto banco di lavoro (X-Y): è un punto immaginario del banco di lavoro utilizzato come riferimento per mettere in relazione la posizione della testa operatrice, sul piano X-Y, con il banco di lavoro stesso. Per convenzione è l’angolo destro-posteriore del banco di lavoro (v. FIG.X) ed è determinato come il punto di intersezione delle due linee immaginarie tangenti al fronte di riscontro X-Y di allineamento pannello.

Het gaat over het cartesisch assenstelsel en het machinenulpunt etc.
Ik snap het laatste deel van de laatste zin niet: "fronte di riscontro X-Y di allineamento pannello".

De Engelse vertaling luidt:
Absolute origin of work bench (X-Y): this is an imaginary point of the work bench which is used as a reference for relating the position of the operating head, on the X-Y plane, to the work bench.
By convention, this is the rear-right corner of the work bench (see FIG.X) and it is determined as the intersection point of the two imaginary lines tangential to the X-Y panel alignment locators.
