possibly something along the lines..
"The enlarged revised 50 Proverbs" which may reflect some uncertainty about the perceived "number of Heaven" ... hence changing it from 25 to become 50. 25 being referenced in Matteo Ricci's "Vingt-cinq Paroles" ('25 Proverbs' being my translation)

"50 Sententiae morales a p. Julio Aleni'

Cinquante Paroles. [Du Ciel.]
Fourmont CCXXXIX. N. F. Chinois 3043 et 3044.— Courant, 3406.
Ricci et Aleni ont composé chacun vingt-cinq
paroles = 50 de ce livre. 25 est une allusion à
l'Y-king où le nombre 5 multiplié 5 fois fait
celui de 25 qui est le nombre du Ciel.
Gravé à la mission du Fou-Kien (1645).

(Matteo) Ricci and (Giulio) Aleni have each made twenty-five sayings
= 50 words of this book. 25 is an allusion to
the I-Ching, where the number 5 times 5 multiplies to that of 25 which is the number of Heaven.
Engraved with the mission of Fukien (1645).

Julius Aleni 艾儒略 (1582-1649) also included a couple of Aesop’s tales in
his work Wushi Yan Yu《五十言餘》 (1645) for proselytizing purposes.
