faring In my enormous Gyldendals Dansk-Engelsk Ordbog:
en faring (fisk.) = fry
And from my intensive aquaculture course at UiB, I know they often transport the fry in boats from the hatchery out to the offshore fish farm. They just pump the fish right through a tube/hose thingy out onto the boats. It's impressive to see...

not a typo Yeah you're right - I found the original source document. It's also the only search hit for that term I've found though. I'll just have to trust that Tara is right on the mark for this one.

No typo. New heading. This is not a typo. The heading before it was fôringsbåt/arbeidsbåt.
