As far as I have understood, this is about an endodontic problem. Endodontic emergencies are caused by inflammations. Pus is formed and causes a strong toothache. And this is the very moment when the patient decides to see a dentist.

Discussion
so the Fuji applies the filling and after that the dentist normally brushes off the superflouous material to ensure proper bite. At least that is as much I can get from it.
I am also in doubt as to "pus". I interpret the Norwegian "puss" as cement or something of that kind, but I am uncertain as to the exact meaning of the word as used in this context.
