I was transported via Google from volumgods to Scania, where I found not only a reference to a "megatrailer" but in fact a URL incorporating "volume cargo" as well. :-) Then it was on to confirm "volume goods", as used by a British trailer manufacturer at the second link.

Sorry, a bit of Norglish slipped in -- I should have said that the British manufacturer uses "volume cargo", not "volume goods", in my second link.

: This is something different, namely, commodities transported in bulk. They might be particularly dense and a load would consequently be heavy. The essence of volumgods is that they're light and maximum space is needed for efficiency.
