Spanish term

cooperativa de segundo grado

Spanish to English Other Agriculture Fruit and Veg - types of cooperative
ESPAÑA. Is there a specific name for these in English or is it a purely Spanish distincion? The definition below is from Wikipedia, but only apears in Spanish.

"Una cooperativa de segundo grado es una cooperativa cuyos socios son otras cooperativas. Mientras en las cooperativas de primer grado los socios son personas físicas o jurídicas, en las cooperativas de segundo grado, los asociados son solo personas jurídicas, siguiendo el principio federativo."

NB: Posting as non-pro to avoid brickbats from the usual suspects :)

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): Charles Davis, matt robinson, Noni Gilbert Riley

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Charles Yes, second-tier cooperative is right. You can post it as an answer. Another link: http://cooperative-curriculum.wikispaces.com/file/view/Types...
Noni Gilbert Riley Jul 18, 2015:
Without knowledge of Spanish labour law... ...you wouldn't know what this post is asking about. PRO!
matt robinson Jul 18, 2015:
I agree with Neil.
BTW, this whole pro v. non-pro thing needs an in-depth discussion on this site, but I don't know where it should take place. I imagine it should be site-wide. Any ideas? We seem to be constantly wasting time and energy on the same issue.
Charles Davis Jul 18, 2015:
Neil Don't let the b_____ grind you down. I'm voting PRO, so there.
