From what I have seen UCR would be a university that works in this field and carries out tests and enquieries (this being very logical please see articles and links below), so I would leave it as that in English as it is the actual name.

This took me a while, but it is definitely the university of costa rica, which is a public university and is known as UCR in both languages. I wouldnt change it but would make a note. It is also by the way, a leading reasearcher in this area. Hope this helps :)
