realizar el blindado

I believe "blindado" comes from the verb "blindar" which has to do with reinforced/armored. "Realizar" means to make or do. So in the last part of the sentence they are talking about the reinforced/amored (door?) that is supposed to be guarding the cash that was collected that day.
