Spanish term

dar el visto bueno y permitir

Spanish to English Marketing Marketing Advertising
En un manual de usuario. Aplicación referida a un banco. Aqui se trata de la capacidad de los usuarios corporativos de poder revisar datos pendientes de publicar.

En este contexto:

"Los usuarios corporativos tienen la opción de revisar aquellas versiones que están pendientes de ser publicadas para así poder dar el visto bueno y permitir su publicación y/o pedir cambios"

De momento lo entiendo así:

"Corporate users have the option to review those versions not yet published so that they can give their aproval and allow for their publication and / or request changes"

Discussion

MartaHS Jan 29, 2011:
I'd say,

Corporate users have the option to review the versions pending pubication subject to their/for their approval and allow publishing or
request changes.

Cheers

Eugenio,

I couldn't help reading the rest of the sentence you translated. It sounds better in English to say "and allow for them to be published"

...request changes

This way, you won't be using "their" with two different referents (in one sentence).

I hope this helps!
