Spanish to English Other Other Una sugerencia...
Hola amigos, ¿alguien podría darme una sugerencia? Se trata de una línea en un trailer. Con "perro", el personaje se refiere despectivamente a una persona.
De antemano, gracias por su ayuda. ¡Saludos!

Discussion

José Julián Díaz (asker) Apr 30, 2009:
Thank you Lydia! Thank you Lydia. It may be a "dog" joke or something that may convey the concept. I was thinking about
What dou you call a monkey with money? Monkey making machine. But it's too long for a subtitle.
Lydia De Jorge Apr 30, 2009:
I understand the joke I just want to know if you need the same meaning, or a 'dog' joke in general?
José Julián Díaz (asker) Apr 30, 2009:
Clarification... In Mexico, "lana" means "money", that's why they say "perro lanudo".
Lydia De Jorge Apr 30, 2009:
JJ Does it have to refer to a dog? Money?

What do you call a rabbit with money? Munny Rabbit / Money Rabbit (or: Bugs Munny)

Munny Rabbit - from Bunny Rabbit
Bugs Munny - from Bugs Bunny

JJ, since you seem willing to consider puns other than dog-only, here's another for consideration.

Or better, what do you call a rich rabbit? Munny rabbit. (Better to leave the word "money" out of the joke's question, since it's the key to the joke's answer.)
