Spanish term

chingar bien gacho

Spanish to English Other Slang mexico
I'm translating a police interrogation about a fight. The interpreter's Spanish is not that great.

"Que palabras usaba XXX? Que iban a pegar como matar? O nada mas iban a chingar bien gacho?"

"No, nada mas que le iban a pegar."

"Bien gacho, no?"

"No."

"Pues tiene el bat, el. Ya saben que tiene un bat. Van a chingar bien gacho, si?"

I'm thinking its probably like "give him a real beat down," or something to that effect.
Suggestions?

Thanks.

he's going to fuck you up real bad

No soy de México, pero vivo en la frontera con USA. Chingar es un verbo que se usa mucho aquí y tiene una connotación mucho más fuerte en este área. Aquí "chinga tu madre" es "go fuck yourself". A lo mejor algún colega Mexicano nos puede ayudar.

beat the crap out of you (real bad)

Coincido con Teju, "chingar" dentro de algunos contextos sería hasta matar en México

My two cents...
Peer comment(s):

agree mrose : Although "chingar" has one definite meaning, "beat the crap out of you" is how it would be translated/interpreted to convey the sentiment (socially unacceptable word) and meaning of the speaker
