Source text - English As the number of new infections and hospital admissions continues to decline in the region and in many parts of the country,Federal, State and Local authorities have announced mandatory restrictions aimed at monitoring COVID-19 will be reduced. In our own community, despite the high number of reported cases, the number of hospital admissions has been very minimal and there is no admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) this year. With these reassuring developments, we are reaching a new phase in our approach to COVID. Although public health authorities have concluded that the virus that causes COVID is likely to continue to spread among us such as colds or flu, its risks to the health of our community can be managed effectively with less persistent measures than before.
