This wouldn't be the first case of incorrect spelling in a German text.
As the rafters of differently sloped roofs will certainly involve different procedures to calculate/cut to size, this seems to be a logical item in a training program.

: I don't know, Jory. The plural of Schifter is Schifter. Schiften means work units. Since this is about training, maybe the trainees are supposed to work a particular number of shift days on a certain type of project?

I hardly think that working shifts would differentiate between differently sloped roofs :-)

On 'Schiften', I can only confirm it says 'Schiften' on both lines. I took it to be a verb but I don't know what it means.
The Berufsfeld is Bautechnik. The list of items is from the Beruflicher Lernbereich. Other items on the list are:
