This is a text about artists of the Mexican revolution. I suppose the best translation is raids, but the author's matter-of-fact tone makes me wonder...
Thanks!!

raids
I know next to nothing about the Mexican Revolution, but if these "correrías" were rapid surprise attacks by armed units (one of the meanings of "correría"), then I see nothing in the short text you have provided why "raid" shouldn't be the used.
Best wishes.

: No del todo... es esto: 3. f. Andanza o aventura.

exploits
= adventures, etc.
I really don't think "raids/incursions" works very well for the phrase in question, as they are too specific.

Phil's suggestion "forays" is suitable too IMHO.

Of course , these exploits or adventures MAY have included raids or incursions, but there is nothing explicit in the query sentence to justify the assumption.

Example sentence:
I was wallowing in Webster's words about his exploits alongside Armstrong
Gilford, who was now on something of a high following his exploits alongside Seve the previous afternoon
