See the Rheinhausen link from K. Isaac The full title of that document is “Liefervorschrift Fabrikatliste TGA”. The “-vorschrift” part is where I get “approved.” You could also use “specified” but that seems a bit less natural to my ear.

Where "approved" comes in My husband David also put it as "approved" product list, meaning it is not a product catalog of a specific manufacturer, but rather the "parts" or products, along with their manufacturers, that made it to the list, to be used for the project.

I don’t know a common “term of art,” but this is what the list is for. The Rheinhausen link that K. Isaac provided is a good example.
