For me, one of the great joys in being a freelance translator, after working in-house for many years, is precisely the freedom it gives me to work as I please and be my own boss. Anyway, I gave up saying this type of question is statistically null. Who cares for statistics. These questions are mostly just for the hack of it. | | | Running a business | Aug 23, 2015 |
To be totally honest, I find myself leaning more towards the administrative and business side of being translator more than the actual translation process. I get excited whenever I find new ways to grow or expand my business, or when I find a way to increase my productivity. I even like going over all my accounting and tax stuff (I think I have to blame my time as an interpreter for the accounting departments I worked with during my in-house days). | |
