Source text - English "You are invited to take part voluntarily in a research study of a study drug known as LY231514. Your participation in study treatment is expected to last up to six cycles of chemotherapy, or until your disease gets worse, you do not want to continue the study anymore, the drug(s) makes you sick, or your doctor and/or the sponsor believe that it is in your best interest to stop taking the drug. After the 30-day follow-up visit, you will continue to be monitored to check how well the drug(s) worked. You will be followed after you discontinue study treatment to determine the safety and effectiveness of the study treatment. LY231514 500mg/m2 proved to be safe when administered with vitamin supplementations in the treatment of patients with mesothelioma (a cancer of the lining of the lung) and led to its approval in the treatment of this cancer. By signing the consent document for this study, you will give permission (“authorization”) for the uses and disclosures of your personal health information that are described in this Data Privacy Statement."
