Debt collection agencies Aug 14, 2006

Hi Brandis,

I sometimes use the services of a debt collection agency in Rotterdam which is operating worldwide, but to be honest it mostly doesn't come to this: just threatening is mostly more than enough.

That said, there's not much you can do with an agency in Rotterdam, as you live in Germany. I'd look on the internet for debt collection agencies in your area and compare their charging methods and fees.

Threatening doesn´t always help. This agency enjoys a 5/5 lwa on this site. Now after all the reminders they are saying that the payment goes through their internal accounting procedure and that may take time. What now? I could call on german border Industriesicherheitsbehörde to regulate this issue. They do it free of charge and the issue will reach international courts, between germany and netherlands. I had already informed the agency that I shall never work again for them and adv. all my good colleagues to be careful.
