Mijn via Proz.com gemaakte site is onbereikbaar. Ik meende dat de werkzaamheden inmiddels zijn afgesloten, maar ik kan mijn eigen website niet meer bereiken. Wie kampt met dezelfde problemen?

I\'m pretty impressed, it\'s understandable at least, even though it\'s not one hundred percent correct:

correct is:
Ik spreek geen Nederlands; dit is een automatische vertaling. Is het goed?
There are a lot of inversions in Dutch, so that\'s why it doesn\'t always work! Pity Europe never went for Esperanto!

I thought \"Goed is het?\" looked particularly odd, but without knowing any Dutch, how would I know? Curiously, though, this sentence was the output from \"Is it any good?\" but when I input \"Is it good?\", the result was \"Is het goed?\" How should the Dutch version correctly account for adding the word \"any\" to the English sentence?

I believe \'any\' is particular to the English language. We would completely rephrase it, as no doubt would be the case in Spanish. I once had a pretty enjoyable exchange with a Spanish speaker after putting some text through Babelfish. I feel therefore that native-speaking translators are indispensible!

Het oorspronkelijke onderwerp, namelijk de onbereikbaarheid van mijn via proz opgebouwde site, is uitgelopen op een discussie over de grammatica van het Nederlands en andere talen. Dit was niet mijn bedoeling. Weet iemand welke stappen er worden ondernomen om de verloren gegane sites weer actief te krijgen?
