Picking up on ProZ.com member Gianni Pastore's great logo contest initiative in 2008 I thought it would be fun to re-launch this contest as we get ready to celebrate Translator's Day during the Virtual Conference.

Picking up on ProZ.com member Gianni Pastore's great logo contest initiative in 2008 I thought it would be fun to re-launch this contest as we get ready to celebrate Translator's Day during the Virtual Conference.

To participate you simply have to:

1- Take a photo showing how creative you can be using these four letters P - R - O - Z and post your photo in this thread or in the Translators and Interpreters (ProZ.com) group in Facebook.

2- Have fun all the way

Deadline: September 30, 2010 24 GMT Translator's Day

Winners of this contest will be awarded these great books available at a ProZ.com/books


1.- "English-Thai Dictionary of Christian Terms and Bible Words" by Marcus Vigilante

2.- "Fidus interpres: a prática da tradução profissional" by Fabio Said

3.- "How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator" by Corinne McKay

4.- "InDesign for translators" by Chris Phillips (this is an eBook)

5.- "Internet Freelancing" by Oleg Rudavin

6.- "The Entrepreneurial Linguist: The Business-School Approach to Freelance Translation by Dagmar V. Jenner and Judy A. Jenner



Winners will be announced on October 1, 2010 after the virtual conference in a drawing among all those who have uploaded a photo in this thread or in the Translators and Interpreters (ProZ.com) group in Facebook.
