Is this the same form as გაგიხარია i.e. in the idiomatic sense "let me assure me"? The sentence is "შრომა იცის, გაგიხარნია" - would it be "He knows how to work hard, let me tell you!"?

The modern grammatically correct form is "გაგიხარია".
"გაგიხარნია" is an old form of the same word with the same idiomatic sense, and this version may also be used in literature and poetry.

Libby, in this context the word გაგიხარნია means 'of course; surely'
