Dearest colleagues and friends.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear that our dear colleague Alan R King has pased away. He was just 64. This is really sad and a great loss to all of us who have had contact with him.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear that our dear colleague Alan R King has pased away. He was just 64. This is really sad and a great loss to all of us who have had contact with him.

Alan was a very relevant linguist, he deserved having his own article at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_R._King - he will be remembered as a notable researcher in Euskera (the language of the Basque people of Spain and France) and Nawat (a Mesoamerican language).
