Dear all (and particularly staff),
I was wondering what exactly is considered an "incomplete question", which is offered as a reason for squashing a Kudoz question?
Thanks for any hints,
kind regards,

Hello Erik,
A KudoZ question is said to be incomplete when one or more of the fields required for a KudoZ question does not include any question-related information --a full stop or a set of question marks in the "Term or phrase" field, for example.

Hello Lucia,
I've read the link you posted, but I would like to ask you one question.
Below it says (quote):
There are a number of specific reasons why a KudoZ question can be removed. An explanation of each is included below. Also below is a list of invalid reasons for removing questions.
- Offensiveness (sexism, racism, etc.)
If a questions is sure to offend any subset of the ProZ.com community, it may be removed.
- Adult nature and/or profane - without use of "May offend" option
In the absence of plausible professional reasons, terms inappropriate for children may be removed. Note that this reason should not normally be used if a question has properly been marked "May offend"
My question is, can offensive questions (sexism, racism, etc.) be posted WITH the use of "May offend" option like the Adult nature/profane questions? Reading the above, I'm not sure if the offensive questions are grouped together with the adult nature and/or profane question.
Thank you very much in advance.

Let's say a kudoz editor squashes a question that violates the below rule (and there is no disagreement on there being more than one term - for example, the question is "apple vs. banana").
Can you think of a valid reason why a moderator might reinstate the question?
- Includes more than one term question
Unless they share a root or are otherwise related, terms should be posted separately--an asker should not ask how to say "apple" and "banana" in the same question. Check this FAQ for a definition of "term help" | | | The use of KudoZ is, as the use of the site, subject to site rules | Jan 5, 2011 |

As long as site and KudoZ rules are followed, a potentially offensive question can be posted if flagged as "may offend".

Questions that are appropriately removed as per site rules will not be re-instantiated.
