So... I'd like to pick your brains a little.

I know we're not supposed to formally reference end clients as clients, as we're subject to NDAs, and we don't, not even for those agencies we have no NDA with (there are a few). We think everyone should be treated equally, NDA or not. I could of course ask those agencies if we could use them as references, but then they're not very impressive. Some of the end clients we have are though, but I can't formally reference those.

However, what if I were to, say, 'like' or 'pin' end clients' home pages or something? Or would that not be a good idea?

Obviously, they would be kind of identifiable, as I do sometimes specify '[x type of document] for a major legal firm', for instance, if people ask for references. I tell them I can't give them references, as we're subject to an NDA but I can disclose the type of document and industry.
If we were to have only one legal firm liked on the Facebook page or so and then said a 'major legal firm', then that would be a clue wouldn't it. Or would that strictly speaking not infer anything?

I'm mainly asking in terms of British and US law, or should I contact the legal departments of these agencies?
