I would like to see figures of how many fulltime translators (in the western world) are actually accepting (conventional translation) work for 0.03 euros a word and are able to pay their bills.
There are people who have translation as a side gig indeed, I believe they are the main candidates for 0.03 combined with poor quality work that they complete between dinner and bed time (because tomorrow they go for their real work).
